Ian Leonardo Sánchez-Herasme was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1994 and moved to the United States in 2000, at the age of five. In the spring of 2012, he became proud alumni of J.P. McCaskey High School. Ian has been involved in both, plays and musicals, and has a strange obsession with Stephen Sondheim. When he’s not fangirl-ing over vocal melisma, Ian spends his time working full-time at the Lancaster-Lebanon Habitat for Humanity. Sometime soon, he will be graduating with a business marketing degree from Central Penn College. In Paloma Players, he worked as the stage manager for Yerma by Federico García Lorca. Ian is a near life-long resident of Lancaster City. Some of his many interests include socializing with friends (and strangers), eating zucchini, and Mariah Carey. He is eager to serve his local community through Teatro Paloma. His past roles include Seaweed in Hairspray, Bernardo from West Side Story, and various other ensemble roles at Ephrata Performing Arts Center.
